Ann's final service

Ann's final service

Sunday was time to say goodbye to our curate, Ann, and wish her all the best as she moves on to take up her new role.

Freely you have received; freely give. (Matthew 10.8)

Ann used her last service to reflect on kindness and generosity and encourage us in our continuing journey of faith.

In turn, we thank Ann for everything that she’s given us over the last three years. First joining us in June 2023, Ann was ordained deacon in June 2024 and priest in June 2025. Ann has got involved in pretty much every aspect of ministry across the churches of All Saints, St Denys, St John the Baptist and St Mark. We’re especially grateful for Ann’s ministry during our vacancy over the last eight months.

Ann is leaving to take up a role in King’s Somborne from 7 July.

We couldn’t let Ann leave without presenting a card from all of us and some gifts. Cake may also have been eaten!

Join us in praying for Ann as she enters this exciting new chapter and finds out what plans God has for here.

Please also pray for the churchwardens, PCC and everyone in the parish as our vacancy continues.
